After the past 9 months, mostly on the road teaching and photographing, we're finally home for a few months. Just to give the aspiring professional an idea of what is involved in this business, my current office hours are from 5am until about 11pm. Now, I'm not sitting at the computer all that time. After all, working at home has the benefit (I least I think that it's a benefit) of being able to work at the computer for a while, then taking a break for yard work or doing stuff around the house, cleaning camera gear, taking a bike ride (on the trainer these days), etc. Since being home I met 5 article deadlines and am currently working on a new book deadline, due in Feb. So, being off the road certainly does not mean taking a break from work! Also, this is the time when need to do a huge amount of image processing for submission to my stock agencies. So, after taking a few hours off to visit family for Thanksgiving, it's back to work today. Oh, yeah.....I forgot to mention that we're finishing up a Betterphoto class session next week also!
Tony,
I'm glad to see you and Susie are home with the opportunity to kick back and enjoy some back-home Maryland life again. I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful Lighthouse trip you led in September for GAPW. Your teaching and friendship was invaluable. Both have made me a better photographer. Have a happy holiday and I look forward to meeting up with you again down the road!
PS: Would you consider running a workshop concentrating on succeeding in stock photography? Just a thought.

Hi Terry:
I don't get in here too often, as you can see.
Thanks for your kind words and it's always a pleasure working with you.
In regards to a stock photography workshop, it's a topic during workshops, but a course in stock is not in the works right now.
