I am always looking for components to use in combination with other images. About two years ago I photographed this Santa hat that a friend of mine owned, and a couple of weeks ago I decided it would make a great fashion statement on this red eyed tree frog. I had taken the picture of the frog during one of my frog/reptile photo workshops (jimzuckerman.com), and it seemed perfect for a humorous picture for the holidays. The hat was originally shot against black -- purposely -- because black can be dropped out fairly easily without having to select all along the white fur of the hat.
I made a rough selection of the hat with the lasso tool and then pasted it over the frog photo with Edit > copy and then Edit > paste. Then, in the blend modes submenu within the layers palette, I chose 'lighten'. That eliminated the black from the periphery of the hat, and the composite was finished after I sized it to fit using Command/Ctrl T.
Happy Holidays everyone.
Some time before, I needed to buy a car for my organization but I did not earn enough money and couldn't buy something. Thank goodness my colleague adviced to get the business loans from banks. So, I did so and was satisfied with my college loan.
