A "found" group of objects in an antique case provided an opportunity to photograph collage-style using a wide-angle lens placed on top of a glass countertop.
Topaz Labs has a variety of plug-ins and effects, and I wanted to try something a little different. I used two filters from the Topaz plugin Vivacity. Used creatively as suggested on their website, the filters can generate some pretty cool effects!
I added a texture layer for a little more dimension, color and interest. The effects of the filters are most noticeable in the text areas, very bendy and unusual.

It's different and fun to work with ... try it! Topaz Labs Vivacity. I used Clean and Sharpen to create the soft painterly, and scratchy-bendy effects as shown here. We are making pictures like this in my online Photoshop class at BetterPhoto: Photoshop: Enhancing Images and Creating Works of Art.
