One of the things I like about Adobe Camera Raw is the ability to not only optimize an image, but to creatively enhance it as well. With this photo of aging architecture, I used the sliders in camera raw to bring out the color and detail, creating an HDR-like effect without additional exposures or plug-ins.
Experiment with moving Recovery, Fill Light, Contrast, Clarity and Vibrance sliders to the right, and move the other sliders to suit your image. If you want a dramatic look, process the image again for even more color and impact.
