This old bicycle is aged to perfection, and locked up for safety against an old peeling painted wall in Lima, Peru. The yellow and blue wall added more texture and detail throughout the composition. I tend to like to work close, and sometimes the parts are more interesting to me than the whole, as with this bicycle.
Bicycles are an ongoing project that I like to add to during my travels near and far. I used Nik Color Efex Pro Tonal Contrast to accentuate the texture in the mid tones, and also subtly increase the overall saturation.
